As consultants, in addition to meeting the needs of our clients, we explore opportunities to bring value to all of the project participants (staff, other consultants, program participants, research subjects) by working in ways that build capacity, engage participants in meaning making and by generating knowledge that can be shared more broadly when possible.

Through my consulting work I hope to advance justice by applying research on innovations in equity focused leadership development approaches to create new strategies, through evaluations that center participant learning and capacity, and by activating or supporting equity focused networks of leadership program alumni.

How I Work

At the Leadership Learning Community I launched a consulting services arm of the organization and partnered with more than 20 small to large foundations on projects that strengthened leadership development support and connection among activists committed to justice. I love working in teams and often source a broad network of talented consultants with specialized skills needed for complex projects.

I live in Oakland where I enjoy all the area has to offer with my partner, children, grandchildren, pets and great friends.
